Some of our land can be best described as “Rocky Top”. The Ranch could very well have been the inspiration to Tennessee’s official song Rocky Top. The song was written by Boudleaux and Felice Bryant. The Tennessee Legislature officially adopted Rocky Top as a state song in 1982. Click here if you would enjoy listening to a few bars.

Our location at 800 McKee Rd, Watertown, TN off I-40 East at exit 245.

The above is our “Rocky Top” location where we have some cows and several recips.   It is located on Round Lick Creek, which has water flowing continuously.  It has been reported that the place has a very storied past over the many decades of its existence. The Trail of Tears passed through the farm with a campsite on the creek.

The old house dates back to the very early 1800s.  The structure you see was built around a one-room log house.  The farm has several stone fences.  If you look closely, along the edge of Round Lick Creek where the old road wound along the creek you can still find wear on the rock and stone  from the wagons and buggy wheels.
