Welcome

Welcome to the RRAR Web site, we thank you for dropping by to visit us. Our three locations of Rockin R Angus Ranch are nestled in the hills of middle Tennessee east of Nashville, Tennessee.  Please visit the Locations page to learn more about our different locations and facilities.

Objective

Rockin R looks to the cow to drive quality and selection.  While most breeders can use the best sires to improve their herd, it takes a great cow matched with the best bulls to meet our objective.  Our greatest objective is to use outstanding phenotype and superb genetics to build a superior herd using exceptional females while using the finest sires to develop these qualities.  It is not by coincidence or accident that the offspring from our herd will improve from generation to generation.  We ask questions and seek advice, as we add new Donor Cows to our herd in continuation of our pursuit of excellence.

We have purchased donor cows, heifers, and females searching for the best.  We have visited many breeders across the United States in an attempt to build and improve our herd over time.  We are very proud of the success we have had in the process.  If we are able to assist other breeders to succeed in their quest to improve their herd, it will certainly add to our success.

Donor Cows

Please visit our Donor Cow page to view some of our best.  You will find VDAR Lass 1324, who has some of our best bulls. Furthermore, you will find SAV 0451 whose dam is the well-known Abigale 6062 that produced Successor. This outstanding sire is an excellent producer for Genex, a maternal sire of our Abigale 0451. Additionally, Abigale 041 has a son, S A V Adaptor 2213, that has earned his own place with Genex. Most notable is SAV Mandan that sold as the top-selling bull in the SAV sale for $150,000.  Moreover, there is RR Pleasant Pill whose grandam was also the dam of Connealy Frontline. We have genetics from Gardiner and Three Trees, along with other outstanding donors from herds.

Visit

We would be pleased to have you come by to see us if you are in the middle-Tennessee area.  Should you have an interest in any of our heifers or yearling bulls, please let us hear from you.
